Our Community 

Bethlehem Community Church aims to help and serve our community in a way that is consistent with our values. There are several programmes and partnerships in which we do this.

Mainly Music

Mainly Music is a fun music program for parents or primary caregivers to enjoy with their preschool child. Mainly Music meets every Wednesday morning at 10:00am during school term time, to sing, dance, eat and play.

Coffee & Craft

Coffee & Craft group meet at BCC every Tuesday during the school terms, 10am - 12pm. The cost towards expenses and morning tea is $2 . Extra optional projects incur an additional cost.

This is a great opportunity to meet with others, work on a project or just have a cuppa & chat. All welcome.

  • Good Neighbour Trust

    Good Neighbour exists to provide practical support and opportunities, and foster community. Good Neighbour administers the Bethlehem Community Gardens, which is on the church land.

  • The Opportunity Centre

    The Op Centre is a partnership between BCC and Omokoroa Community Church.

    The Op Centre is a community meeting place and provides good quality clothing and goods for sale.

    The Op Centre is staffed by volunteers and all proceeds are returned to the community.

  • Enliven

    Enliven runs a day programme for older people using the BCC Lounge from Tuesday to Friday. Approximately 20 older people attend each day. They are provided with a meal, activities, outings and a monthly church service.

  • Transform Aotearoa Charitable Trust

    Transform Aotearoa is a faith based ministry that seeks to provide tools disadvantaged people can use to lift themselves to fulfilled lives for themselves, their families and their community. BCC and TA partner running a programme for men.

  • Tauranga Institute for Relationships

    Jacqui Moulton holds a Masters degree in counselling and specialises in couples counselling.

    Her office is part of the BCC facilities.
